New life and new beginnings are all around us! I can feel the thrill,both within and without, of the stirring and budding of creation. Can you feel it?
As the Sun moves into Aries, it is the start of a new astrological year. The world is suspended, momentarily, in a state of complete balance. Light and dark, day and night, the divine masculine and feminine move into a dance of harmony with one another. The time of quickening is upon us. The time of a deep awakening of a new energy of deeper compassion and love is held in the potential that buzzes in the quantum womb all around us.
Quantum Womb
My creative self protests remnants of sameness
With wild unravelings
She howls at the moon
She will not abide by speed limits
Her rebellion is a sacred quest, a holy grail
She blazes from ice to steam
Volcanic as fire meets water
In the sphere of stars
Her garment, a cloak of stardust
Flung with wild abandon
over elusive shoulders of grace
I cannot seem to grasp her form
I dwell in wonder, floating in a sea of dreams
Quantum womb, I am but a particle of dust
Unbound by gravity
Surrendered to the whisper of your cosmic wind
I am intrigued by the sparks of light
That illuminate this nighttime womb
I wait and listen, still and silent
For the mystery of this path to be revealed
I tend my soul
By the strokes of my paintbrush,
It brushes loose the debris of past wounds
That cloud the way ahead
Day breaks with golden, radiant light
I raise my face to receive
Sunlight and moonlight in equal measure
I am a chalice of possibility
Suspended within me
Like a sprinkling of stardust
Sparks of desire arise
Like the fragments of dazzling multi-colored dreams

I invite you to take some time for a pause, a quiet time in nature, just between you and you. Set an intention for the coming year.
Ask for an intention that will support you in sharing your gifts, your unique energetic vibration, with others. An intention that will bring you just a little closer to creating the life of your deepest dreams and heartfelt desires. If you have not yet chosen a word for your year, ask for that to be revealed to you. If you have chosen a word for your year, now would be a great time to revisit that word/intention and ask if it still serves your dreams or is it time for it to be released. Have fun, be playful with your choices! I love to make up my own words. For this year my words are Flex-Pansion and Plenti-Flow. They still feel YUMMY in my mouth as I voice them…..I still feel a little shiver of delight when I think of them. Yep, all signs that they are keepers (for now-always subject to the whims of my MUSE).
The cosmic energy at this moment is perfectly aligned with the archetype of The FOOL in the Tarot deck. A return to innocence, a spirit of play, coming back to your original self, releasing (again????!!!!!- yes there are deeper layers) all that no longer serves, seeding new dreams AND taking guided action on these. Aries is all about action. Remember that taking guided action is not about being “dutiful”. It is about choosing that which gives you joy. Take one baby step toward that joy today.
